About this site

Experiences and encounters at important junctures in my life led me to become a writer on Hindu issues.

Most of the articles on this site were written during my long career as a “street-level” Hindu activist and later as editor of Hindu Voice UK magazine. This site also has articles by other writers who contributed to Hindu Voice UK.

The purpose of this site is to put all of these writings back on the world wide web, so that they can reach an audience who may find them useful.

  3. Sameer Banerjee says:

The story of indentured labour is indeed very harsh but unfortunately independent India has done precious little for them. They are everywhere but notably in the Carribs, in British Colimbia, the Fijis and Mauritius. It is time for us to take a re-look at them in light of them being Hindus. Why not ask the Caribbean Govt to give them a province they can call their own?
